1. Anonymous by design
Anonchat is designed with privacy first. We do not require registration, login, or any personal information. Your identity remains anonymous.
2. Data we collect
- Anonymous ID: A random identifier stored in your browser
- Age Consent: Confirmation that you are 18+
- Chat Messages: Anonymous chat messages and media are automatically deleted after 6 months
- Reports: If you report another user
3. Data we do not collect
- Names, emails, or phone numbers
- Social media profiles
- Precise location data
- Photos or media files
4. Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage to maintain your anonymous session. No tracking cookies are used for advertising purposes.
5. Message retention
Anonymous chats are automatically deleted after 6 months. Friend chats are stored to allow you to continue conversations. We do not sell your data.
6. Third parties
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We may use analytics services that collect anonymous usage statistics.
7. Law enforcement
We may disclose information if required by law to comply with legal processes, protect user safety, or prevent illegal activities.
